Well.... what to say?

I'm a bit of a workaholic - I'm not happy unless I've got a whole list of jobs lined up.

Five kids - madness, eh? I love them all, though.

Socially? I'll have a few drinks with friends when I get the opportunity. I ride my bikes when I get time. The Norton is for plodding to shows, the Kawasaki is for proper riding, and the BSA, well that's for fixing when I've got less time!

Professionally?

  • Bespoke Software - Analysis, design and programming. Mainly 'Dirty Hands' work. 34 years in the business, the last 28 of them freelance. Have a look here or here if you're interested in this side of me. I've designed and built all my Web Sites myself. I can do yours too, if you're interested. Of course, I handle many other aspects of IT too.
  • Livestock Farming - I did this for 10 years. There's no money in it, and it's hard work, but I enjoyed it most of the time. Have a look here if you're interested in this. In January 2001 we stopped all the deliveries and sold most of the livestock. This may be a temporary situation and we may decide to resume at some point in the future, but for the time being we are having a well-earned rest from it.

  • Industrial Doors - Roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, steel fabrication, security bars and gates, roofing and cladding, and lots more. I started this venture with a good friend and colleague. I'm out of it now, but it's still going strong with my colleague at the helm.
  • Other - well, isn't that enough? I'll have a crack at most things, though, and I've got a couple of other ventures on the back burner at the moment. I've just completed this project and here is my next project.
